Mighty dolls? Yes!
Women have been making dolls forever. Busy hands can be a form of devotion, a form of prayer. Not prayer in the judgmental god of this or that kind of prayer, but prayer that honors the earth, the elements and the creatures that share our home.
I create with a purpose in mind and the doll’s personality evolves as they take shape.

These dolls are magic. Each doll is individually brought to life with the help of my client’s purpose. Every doll answers an inner longing, a sacred need, like JOY, BRAVERY, FOCUS, HEALING.
The magic starts inside the
MEDICINE BUNDLE that becomes the doll’s torso. I go to my forest cathedral (the woods) and find plant medicine, seeds, bark, thorns, pine needles, rocks, moss, crystals etc.
Every living thing has medicine and I collect what each doll wants to carry to you. This medicine bundle becomes the belly of the doll, the fire in the belly, the constellation around which the entire doll evolves.

This is YOUR PURPOSE for wanting a doll. Tell me, do you need rest, focus, joy, creativity, energy, protection? Once we chat about what you’re looking for in a doll, I head to my forest and choose plants, rocks, flowers, or herbs that lend power to your focus. The doll’s belly is made carrying these items inside, always within the doll.
This doll is about FOCUS. One eye, single-minded, on task, unwavering concentration head to toe. Healing dolls are made to be a reminder for you so you know where you are going, what you want to accomplish, how you want to spend your precious resources. Each doll is individually brought to life after hearing from you, WHAT DO YOU NEED?

These dolls are magic. I’ve made many to remember a passed relative/beloved. The dolls don’t usually look like your beloved but embody characteristcs thru colors and forms. It’s a perfect way to remember a loved human or creature.

I am an artist, a mom, a mystic, a mountain forest dweller.
Being a curious seeker my entire life. I learned something called Deep Soul Writing from a teacher and now collaborator of mine, Janet Conner. This is a method to tap into the mystical realm by letting my brain go into a theta wave state so I can tune in. I learned to journey from my shamanic sound healer teacher Melinda Kinsey. These two methods create the perfect environment for me to settle after my day, listen to guidance, messages and wisdom from my dead, the ancestors, celestial beings, plants, animals and rocks.
A few more details about my dolls. I learned dollmaking over the years by being curious, and more recently studied with Julia Inglis who creates incredible dolls. I also want to give Polly Burns credit for her wisdom and teachings.
How much does a custom sacred doll cost? That depends. If you want a doll contact me and we will go over the specifics of what you’re hoping for, size, etc. After I feel I know enough to start creating I will give you a tight estimate of the cost.
If you have beads or trinkets you’d like to become part of your doll I’m happy to include them in your design. These dolls come from the world of the sacred so I could never tell you exactly what YOUR doll will look like until she takes shape.
